Doug Clyde is an award-winning filmmaker and composer operating under the banner ALBEDO MUSIC. His documentary "Seven Other Planets of Our Solar System" earned a Best Documentary nomination at the International Indie Film & Screenplay Festival. As a former planetarium educator, he brings a unique perspective to science-based storytelling, combining astronomical knowledge with artistic vision. His collaborative work with composer Kelly Joe Richardson on "The Seven Tales of Poe" has garnered multiple awards, including two Gold Awards and a Silver Award all for Best Original Score at the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles in 2025 and 2026. Across 15 albums as the artist ALBEDO, he has won 13 awards including recognition from the Independent Music Awards, Global Music Awards, and the Utah Music Awards. He specializes in blending contemporary animation techniques with classical music and literary adaptations.
